Introduction
Pacific Coast Community College is a Private School fully accredited by PCTIA. Located in central Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada the College specializes in the training of Resident Care Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. The College is well recognized by employers and student practicum placements are held in a variety of private and public facilities throughout the Lower Mainland and BC.
The College has been successfully offering a Resident Care Aide basic program in BC since 2002, with over 800 graduates who have gained employment throughout BC and beyond. Originally in partnership with Langara College, it became a private, PCTIA Accredited Post-Secondary School in 2005 and went on to become renamed Pacific Coast Community College to reflect the ongoing growth of our health professional training programs. At Pacific Coast Community College you will find an educational atmosphere that is fun, culturally diverse and well suited to the Adult Learner. Students originate from countries around the world and have a variety of educational levels and backgrounds. ESL and International Students are welcome. Our Teaching Staff are all Registered Nurses, with University Degree or higher education.
An urban school, Pacific Coast Community College is located at # 202 – 1338 West Broadway, Vancouver, 2 blocks East of Granville Street. Our location at the centre of the city of Vancouver makes us close to many facilities, including Science World, the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Vancouver Public Library. We are also very near all major bus routes, and easy distance to Vancouver’s rapid transit system. For students with access to a vehicle there is convenient parking located in the College Building
